STENNY boss John Coughlin blasted his team's late horror show that gifted Arbroath a crucial victory.
Goals in the last 11 minutes from Paul Watson, Alan Brazil and Bryan Scott sealed the points for the visitors in a dire clash.
Coughlin fumed: "Our defending was really poor - some of the players looked like statues at times.
"To lose three goals late on is disappointing as there was nothing between the teams until that point."
A boring match produced few chances until Arbroath went in front in 79 minutes as Watson drilled a low shot past keeper John Hillcoat.
Brazil added a second moments later and Scott's neat finish sealed an important victory for the visitors.
Arbroath boss John McGlashan said: "It was a bad match but we finished strongly and I'm delighted with the win."
