East Fife 3-0 Forfar

East Fife 3 Forfar 0

DAVE BAIKIE reckons he has captured a gem in Chris Templeman despite the new man failing to find the target as East Fife strolled to victory.

Bobby Linn, Kevin Davison, and Kevin Fotheringham all struck inside half an hour as the leaders swept aside the bottom dogs.

But Fifers boss Baikie was impressed with hitman Templeman on his first start since joining from Morton.

He said: "Chris didn't get on the scoresheet but had some great touches and I'm sure he'll do well as I'm now building towards the Second Division.

The first half was excellent, we totally dominated."

Linn rattled home from 10 yards from a Davison pass in three minutes before supplier turned scorer 13 minutes later with the on-loan winger slipping the ball under keeper Sandy Wood for No.2.

Fotheringham (right) headed the third from a corner in 24 minutes and it was game over.
