Albion 2-2 East Stirling

CRAIG DONALDSON helped East Stirling win a valuable point by nodding home a first-half equaliser - but insisted he was gutted with his poor performance.

Donaldson cancelled out Roddy Hunter's superb opener, before Mark MacKenzie scored to turn the game on its head.

But Jamie MacKenzie grabbed a late equaliser for the home team.

Donaldson said: "I was delighted to score but I was disappointed with my performance today. I've been struggling with an ankle injury."

Rovers gaffer John McCormack said: "We worked hard to get the draw today."

Hunter broke the deadlock in seven minutes with a terrific volley.

Shire pressed for an equaliser, and Donaldson fired home in 36 minutes before Mark MacKenzie's header gave Shire the lead before the break.

It looked like Shire would get the points until Jamie MacKenzie fired the ball home 11 minutes from time.
