Stirling 1-1 East Fife

ANGRY Allan Moore took a swipe at his players and the Binos fans after Stirling let victory slip away.

The Forthbank boss was left reeling as Dougie Cameron cancelled out John O'Neill's opener to steal a point.

Moore said: "When we're one up we should go on to win. "Our players get anxious and sometimes the fans don't help.

"But we can't always play pretty passes out of defence. Sometimes you just have to launch it up the park."

Stirling stormed ahead eight minutes into the second half when defender Jonathan Smart's cross was headed home via a post by assistant boss O'Neill. But the Fifers drew level in 67 minutes when a Bobby Linn cross reached Cameron whose neat head flick gave Myles Hogarth no chance.

With eight minutes left Hogarth kept Binos in it when he saved a smart volley from the edge of the box.

East Fife boss Dave Baikie hailed his troops and said: "It's maybe going to take longer to get used to the league.

"Adraw is probably fair and it gets us up and running.

"However, we will definitely get better."
