Peterhead 2-0 Brechin

BOTH sides go into the season's last game with play-off place hopes still alive - even though Alloa are favourites for the final spot.

Bobby Mann got the opener in 15 minutes, curling in a free-kick from 25 yards. Stuart McKay grabbed No.2 in 75 minutes from a Graeme Sharp cross.

Brechin's Adam Nelson was shown a second yellow card - and angry gaffer Michael O'Neill was sent to the stand.

Peterhead boss Neale Cooper said: "It's great to go into the last game with something to play for."

O'Neill said: "It was a competitive game and the red card was harsh."
