Alloa 2-0 Ross County

ALLOA gaffer Allan Maitland hailed double goal hero Andy Ferguson after the hitman salvaged their play-off chances.

The Highlanders dominated most of the game but were left shellshocked as Ferguson pounced twice to snatch a vital win.

Maitland said: "Andy's late goals meant they couldn't recover. Even if we don't secure a play-off spot we can still be proud."

Upbeat County boss Derek Adams said: "The boys who came in did well. Graham Girvan and Brent Sancho put in excellent debuts."
