NEALE COOPER last night warned his Peterhead men they won't stay at the club if they don't improve their performances.
First-half strikes from Mark Ferry and Tony Quinn clinched it for Queen's but furious Blue Toon manager Cooper insisted his side's display wasn't good enough.
He said: "The players here are playing for new contracts and the way some of them performed out there they won't get them. Queen's Park thoroughly deserved the three points."
Ferry fired Queen's ahead in eight minutes when he raced on to Steve Canning's pass to slot past Michael Kula.
Quinn bagged a second before Peterhead could regain their composure, giving Kula no chance with a bullet header.
Spiders gaffer Gardner Speirs said: "The goals we scored were top drawer. We could have got more but the win was vital for us."
