Queen's Park 3-1 Berwick

GARDNER SPIERS tasted his first win as Queens boss which gave the Spiders a vital boost in their bid for survival.

For rock-bottom Berwick, the result ensures that their own hopes of beating the drop look all but lost.

Berwick levelled in 47 minutes via Ian Little but Mark Ferry's free-kick past the hour restored Queen's lead.

The Spiders wrapped up the points late on when Stuart McGrady's cute chip flew in.
