GUTTED Bobby Dickson slammed his shot-shy side's lack of creation as Queen's slumped to a dismal defeat.
The caretaker Spiders boss was frustrated after a first-half David Templeton header saw his dreary stars off.
He said: "I'm disappointed we got nothing. We had a lot of the ball but no cutting edge and created no clear chances."
Raith Rovers looked a constant threat and went ahead in 23 minutes when Templeton nodded David Goodwillie's cross past Mark Kearns.
The Spiders struggled to break down a stubborn defence with Stuart McGrady going closest to a leveller with a well saved strike.
Raith boss John McGlynn said: "We needed to win to keep the pace so the result was good."
