CURSED Paul Gable reckons he's the unluckiest player in Scottish football after a series of disasters wrecked his season.
The midfielder quit Chicago Fire to return home last summer after four years in America.
Gable thought he landed a break when his dad lined up a trial at Sheffield United after meeting boss Neil Warnock playing golf in Dunoon.
But Warnock then resigned, kicking off a horror run that saw FOUR deals collapse.
Gable said: "When I got back Warnock had left United so the trial never materialised.
"I then got a trial at Clyde but Colin Hendry said he could only offer an amateur contract.
"Gerry McCabe got me in at Dumbarton after that but just as we got talking about a deal the manager was sacked.
"Last week I had a trial at Ross County and broke a bone in my foot. My season is over and I can't believe it."
