Cove V Ross Co Saturday, Kick-Off 3.00
JOHN SHERAN reckons his Cove Rangers side lost the element of surprise the minute they were drawn against their fellow Highlanders.
Boss Sheran would have preferred a team facing a trip into the unknown by going to Allan Park on Saturday. But County will know exactly what they're up against and be well prepared.
Sheran said: "It might have been different had we drawn a team who hadn't played at our ground before but that's not a secret weapon with Ross County.
"A lot of people connected with them, such as director of football George Adams, have a good knowledge of the Highland League.
"They've had plenty of chances to watch us so will know what they're getting into. There will be no surprise for them or us." Sheran will use a personal cup triumph to spur his men on and said: "During my playing days with Montrosewe beat Hearts 2-0 at Tynecastle in the League Cup second round.
"That shows it can happen and we just have to hope they're off colour and we have a hot day.
"Being at home gives me most belief we can win."
