BRECHIN boss Michael O'Neill heaped praise on Alloa keeper Raymond Jellema after his super show frustrated City.
O'Neill's struggling side took a point off high-flying Wasps but the Brechin boss reckons they should have grabbed all three.
He said: "Alloa were dangerous on the break but we always looked the likelier side.
"Their keeper brought off at least half-a-dozen great saves that kept them in the match.
"I couldn't ask for any more from the lads. There are lots of positives."
Alloa also had their chances and Brown Ferguson and Douglas Wilson came close in the first half while Brechin's Darren Gribben hit a post with a free-kick.
After the break Joe Andrew and Ferguson threatened for the Wasps while City's Charlie King came closest to beating Jellema.
Alloa gaffer Allan Maitland said: "I was disappointed with the way we performed especially considering the way we have played recently.
"On the positive side it's always good to come away from home and get a point."
