Chis has spy hopes of plotting an upset

GORDON CHISHOLM has pushed his budget to breaking point for two UEFA Cup spying missions to Denmark - in the hope one sliver of insight gives him payback.

The Queen of the South boss jetted out to watch Nordsjaelland's 3-1 defeat to Odense on Wednesday night and No.2 Kenny Brannigan was at the airport at 4am this morning for their home clash with Randers.

Chis (right) said: "They were a decent side, just what you'd expect - big, strong, quick, everything out from defence to the full-backs.

"Even at 2-0 down they didn't change their system.

"We've put in the work and it's expensive but it's such a big game we have to prepare properly.

"We could have had someone do a report but if you see them first hand you may pick up one weething that makes a difference.

"If it means a chance of getting through we'll do it."
