Let me loose on Europe, warns new Queens hitman Gary Arbuckle

HITMAN Gary Arbuckle took just 23 seconds to show he's up for a European adventure with ambitious Queen of the South.

The ex Clyde ace scored in the first minute of his friendly debut against Queen's Park.

He laughed: "After I signed for Queens in midweek boss Gordon Chisholm said he wanted me to go out and score.

"My first touch was to take the ball round their keeper and my second was to knock it in. It was great to start repaying the gaffer's faith in me so quickly.

"I am excited to see who Queens will get in the UEFA Cup draw and to be playing with a club pushing at the top end of the First Division."
