Stirling Albion 1-4 Livingston

Stirling Albion 1 Livingston 4

LIVI boss Mark Proctor hailed on-form hitman Graham Dorrans after the youngster helped destroy Stirling - but then admitted his prize asset is too good for the club.

Scotland Under-21 star Dorrans was in awesome form at Forthbank, scoring one and creating another as the Lions roared to victory.

The 20-year-old has now bagged 11 goals this season and is off to West Brom for a trial at Tony Mowbray's Championship side.

And ex-Middlesbrough coach Proctor, who unearthed England international Stuart Downing, insists Dorrans will soon hit the big time.

Proctor said: "He's a special talent and can play at a better level. He's far too good for us.

"I worked with Downing and James Morrison so I recognise a special talent and Grahamfalls into that category.

"Tony Mowbray also knows he's something special and could soon be earning big bucks."

While singling out Dorrans for praise Proctor was also pleased with his side's overall display although he admitted they should've scored 10.

He said: "Itwas four terrific goals and it could have been double figures. We were scintillating."

But it was Albion who went ahead on the half hour when Eric Partaalu's shot was deflected past Colin Stewart by Dave MacKay.

Dorrans grabbed the equaliser five minutes later after pouncing on a block by keeper Scott Christie. And the away side extended their lead in 38 minutes when Steven Craig's 30- yard volley flew past Christie

Livi upped the tempo after the break and Robert Snodgrass made it three on the hour after taking advantage of some calamitous Albion defending.

And the hitman bagged his second seven minutes later when Christie failed to deal with a Dorrans cross.

Albion No.2 Mark McNally blasted his side's display as one of their worst ever. He said: "Nobody in our dressing room turned up. That is as bad a result as we have had in the past five years."

MoM: Dorrans (Livingston)
