JAMIE MacDONALD 5
HAD no chance at the opener and left exposed at second goal. Dealt well with anything fired at him in the second half until Boyd's winning header - which he came agonisingly close to tipping over. Pulled off a good save from the Ibrox striker near the end.
RYAN McCANN 6
EARLY job was all about defensive duties. Looked to provide an extra presence down the right with Burns but not allowed to attack enough. Amateur defending at second goal when he ran into Thomson. Came alive at the start of the second half as Queens started to control the match down the right.
ROBERT HARRIS 6
YOUNGSTER has been an ever-present this season and was challenged heavily by McCulloch early on. Let Darcheville get away just before the break and was lucky not to be punished. Struggled to cope with the pace of Beasley when the American swapped places with Thomson.
NEIL MacFARLANE 7
FORMER Hearts man kept things simple in the middle and was quick to pick up any loose balls. Lovely cushioned header to Dobbie in first half nearly created an opening. But as the game wore on looked to be struggling. Copped a sore one from Gers skipper Ferguson right after the break but battled on.
ANDY AITKEN 6
NOW in his testimonial year, the 30-year-old was tasked with putting the shackles on Boyd. Seemed to relish the challenge early on and made a superb lunging tackle on Beasley in 17 minutes. Started the second half by pushing forward as brave Queens battled back but lost his man at third goal.
JIM THOMSON 7
TOWERING skipper had big responsibility to keep his side ticking over and started the afternoon well. Seemed to have the measure of Darcheville but caught out badly at Gers' second goal when he ran into McCann. His drive got Queens going before heading in sensational equaliser.
JAMIE McQUILKEN 7
WIDEMAN put in tireless shift down left and was faced with a tough job against Whittaker. Most of his side's best play seemed to go down the right, particularly in the second half, so couldn't get into it. Gave Whittaker problems later on when he started to run at him. Replaced by Stewart in 75 minutes.
STEVE TOSH 9
MIDFIELD dynamo was sent out to win battle in middle with Ferguson. Worked hard and was getting to grips until his side lost first goal. But stuck to it and was in right place to score his team's first. Harassed Gers midfield all day and man of many clubs can be proud of his outstanding display.
PAUL BURNS 7
RIGHT-SIDED midfielder tried to run at Papac whenever he got the ball. His problem was struggling to get possession, particularly in the first half. Did swing in a couple of decent crosses, one of which almost led to a penalty when it was still 1-0. Came alive in second half when he was his side's biggest threat. Wonderful cross for equaliser.
STEPHEN DOBBIE 6
TRIED to get himself about and was back defending early on. Linked the play well and looked lively when Stevie Tosh played some nice balls through to him. Raised his game in the second half and he started the move for Queen's first goal by slipping a superb ball to Sean O'Connor.
SEAN O'CONNOR 7
THE talismanic hitman was up for the battle from the off. Had a great shout for a penalty in the first half when he was nudged by Steven Whittaker. Could have gone down when he skinned Carlos Cuellar but did well to stay on his feet and cut back a superb ball to Tosh for Queens' shock opener.
SUBS: JOHN STEWART (3): On for McQuilken and worked hard. JOHN O'NEILL (1): Replaced Dobbie in 80 minutes but had little time to make an impact. SCOTT ROBERTSON (1): Was thrown on by boss Gordon Chisholm in the last five minutes but to no avail.
