Mcinnes' Day Of Pride

DEREK McINNES admits one of the proudest days of his life was when his dad Duncan watched Walter Smith sign him for Rangers.

But today the St Johnstone boss is looking to dump his old gaffer's side at Hampden and book a place in the Scottish Cup Final.

McInnes - who spent five years at Ibrox - said: "Signing for Rangers was one of the proudest days of my career. Especially because my dad came with me. He'd been a Rangers fan all his life and it was special."
