St Mirren V St Johnstone Tuesday, Kick-Off 7.45pm
ST MIRREN striker Craig Dargo reckons there will be a queue of clubs lining up to try to snatch cup hero Andy Dorman at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old, who arrived from MLS side New England Revolution in January has been a revelation in the SPL.
Dorman's goals from midfield have given Gus MacPherson's side a new dimension and his strike against St Johnstone last week kept them in the Scottish Cup.
Dargo has been highly impressed by Dorman but knows if he continues his rich vein of form bigger clubs will come knocking on MacPherson's door.
Craig said: "We're lucky to have Andy and he can definitely play at a higher level.
He's a good box-to-box midfielder who has chipped in with vital goals.
"If I can hold the ball in I always look for him. He times his runs well and has a great eye for goal.
"He reminds me of Gary McDonald who used to play for Kilmarnock but Andy is a better finisher.
"We used to have a laugh with Gary and tell him he'd be a £3million player if he could finish.
"We'll have a job on our hands trying to keep Andy at the end of the season.
"Gus has him on a long deal so if anyone wants him they'll have to pay. If he keeps playing well there will be loads of teams looking at him."
Dargo was relieved leaving Perth last week after the Buds scraped a 1-1 draw to set up Tuesday night's replay.
The 30-year-old hasn't had much success in the Scottish Cup but after one painful defeat at Hampden he's desperate to get back there.
Craig said: "I've never had a good run in the Scottish so if we reach the semis it will be the furthest I've been.
"I played in the CIS Cup Final at Hampden for Killie against Celtic but lost to a Henrik Larsson hat-trick.
"So I'd love to get to a final with St Mirren and we must grab this chance to reach the last four."
