CHARLIEADAMis desperate to fire Rangers into the Scottish Cup final to make up for the misery of missing today's CIS Cup showpiece at Hampden.
The Ibrox star is suspended for the big clash with Dundee United at the National Stadium.
And it will be hard to watch from the stand as Gers go for their first piece of silverware in almost three years.
But a Scottish Cup quarter-final clash with Partick Thistle on Thursday night offers Adam the chance to get back on the final stage before the season's end.
So to Charlie, the Jags' visit is just as crucial as today's final.
He said: "It's disappointing to be suspended for this one.
"However, the most important thing is the team has got there and hopefully will be good enough on the day to win.
"We know it will be tough against Dundee United.
"They got a good result against Celtic when they drew at Parkhead in midweek.
"So we'll have to work as hard as we did in Bremen last Thursday night to manage the outcome we want.
"Hopefully the boys will do the business and we can look forward to the rest of the season.
"Any cup final is massive, you want to win trophies and this is the first one of the campaign to be handed out so we want it.
"The Thistle game will be just as big as the CIS Cup Final.
"It's the chance to get into the semi and the more we win the more confidence we'll gain.
"As a player you want to be involved in big games and all the matches are massive now until the end of the season.
"We're in a fabulous position at the minute still competing in four competitions.
"However, nothing has been won yet and there are a lot of hard games ahead between now and the end of the campaign. We're up for the challenge."
