BARRY NICHOLSON conjured up the magic that kept Aberdeen in the cup then admitted he's desperate to give the Dons fans some silverware before he quits Pittodrie.
The midfield ace looks certain to leave for England in the summer after snubbing a new deal and he'd love nothing more than to sign off in style with a medal in his pocket.
And the 29-year-old reckons he has never had a better chance with a CIS Cup semifinal against Dundee United looming on Tuesday AND their place in today's Scottish Cup quarter-final draw assured.
Baz said: "I want to win silverware before I leave and we have a great chance now.
"Tuesday night is massive for us and, to be honest, the contract situation has been put on the back burner because of the amount of games we've had.
"I'm happy the window's shut as it was never the case I wanted to leave in January and now I can concentrate on doing my best for the club.
"The fans have been brilliant with me with all this going on and I'd love to give them a trophy to celebrate."
Meanwhile, gutted Accies boss Billy Reid hailed his team's display and reckons they should have won, let alone taken the tie to a replay.
He said: "It was cruel. We should have won never mind getting a draw.
"We played so well, made lots of chances but unfortunately at this level if you don't take them you are punished - but it's a learning curve for us."
