GOAL hero Jim McAlister swept in a dramatic equaliser and admitted both Ton goals had a touch of luck.
The Greenock star salvaged the tie in 75 minutes but knows he's fortunate to still be in the Cup.
He said: "Both goals took a deflection but my shot was definitely going on target until it took a nick.
"It's great to get another crack at Gretna and we showed great character to come back from 2-0 down and from last week's defeat to Livingston."
And McAlister believes it could have been even sweeter for the Cappielow men if it hadn't been for a team-mate stealing the ball off his toes.
He said: "I missed one just before that goal when Iain Russell took it right off my foot but luckily I was there next time to get the equaliser. I was pleased to come out with a draw and we'll give them another fight in the replay.
"We've heard the draw for the next round is Queen of the South and that's a great incentive for us to win through."
Ton boss Jim McInally (left) hailed the result and said: "It was a fantastic secondhalf display and we'll go in to the replay with confidence. Although it means a hectic schedule we're delighted to still be in it."
