RINO GATTUSO insists mis-firing striker Luca Toni is still the man to lead the line for Italy in tonight's quarter-final against Spain.
The Bayern Munich star has yet to score at Euro 2008 and has missed a glut of chances. But Gattuso - who is suspended for tonight's game - insists Toni has already proved his worth.
Rino said: "It was lucky he didn't score against France when he was fouled or they wouldn't have been reduced to 10 men.
"That Toni moment alone was worth two goals as we went 1-0 from the penalty and had an extra man which was vital."
