THE sooner fourth officials get the message they're not important the better.
Germany boss Joachim Low was sent to the stands for having a mild argument with Austria's Josef Hickersberger.
Consequently, UEFA didn't allow Low to do his job properly in the quarter-final against Portugal when any contact with his players inside the stadium was forbidden.
Thankfully it didn't make a difference but yet again an officious idiot stole headlines from the guys who matter.
