Artur Numan: Portugal and Spain must banish egos to challenge Holland

PORTUGAL have really impressed me and I see them as the main threat to Holland's chances of winning the tournament.

Phil Scolari has them playing attacking, attractive football.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been performing well but the best has still to come from him.

Deco has also been a stand-out. He had a difficult season at Barcelona but looked highly motivated in the two games he has played so far and has scored. The only concern I would have about them is the ego of some of the players may become a problem as it goes to the wire.

When the spotlight is on and you are in the knockout stages some players try to take the limelight and forget about teamwork.

That may cost Portugal from going all the way - and the same applies to Spain.
