Crocked Darren Fletcher pulls out of Scotland squad

DARREN FLETCHER has handed George Burley a headache ahead of Wednesday's friendly against Argentina at Hampden.

The Manchester United star suffered a knee injury yesterday and has pulled out of the squad.

Fletcher started in the 5-0 win against Stoke but limped off after 63 minutes.

The on-form star captained his country last time out against Norway in the absence of Stephen McManus and Barry Ferguson.

And the midfielder will be gutted to miss out on a glamour game that sees Diego Maradona take charge of Argentina for the first time.
