FRANCE boss Raymond Domenech watched his side come back from 2-0 down to grab a point away to Romania - but it may not be enough to save him from the sack.

French football bosses will meet after their midweek friendly with Tunisia to decide Domenech's future.

Yoann Gourcuff was France's hero in Constanta, setting up one goal then lashing home the equaliser.

Florentin Petre and Dorin Goian put Romania 2-0 up but Franck Ribery pulled one back in 36 minutes after being sent clear by Gourcuff.

And the Bordeaux ace equalised in 69 minutes with a spectacular long-range shot.

Ribery could have won the match late on for the French but shot narrowly wide.

Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic was on target in Serbia's 3-0win over Lithuania in Belgrade.

Ivanovic headed their opener in the sixth minute and Milos Krasic fired home a second before the break.

Valencia's Nikola Zigic added Serbia's third in 81 minutes with a diving header.

The Faroe Islands picked up their first point of the campaign, holding Austria 1-1 in Torshavn.

Substitute Bogi Lokin put the Faroese ahead in 47 minutes, but Austria equalised through Martin Strandl.
