Jim White reignites love affair with Scandinavia

SKY SPORTS presenter Jim White's love affair of all things Scandinavian re-surfaced in the shape of Henning Berg.

The ex-Man Utd stopper was on pundit duty and White's patter brought memories of a certain interview with fellow Nordic star Brian Laudrup.

His opening to Berg was: "You are a legend Henning."

Berg kept a diplomatic distance throughout - unlike the fan caught auditioning for a Nescafe ad during the anthems when the "Proud Edward's army" line was sung.

The hand signal was no doubt waved to Chris Iwelumo after his horror miss that White said was: "Frightening to say the least."

Not half as scary as White's over-familiar pat on Berg's knee.
