VETERAN defender Graham Alexander insists he still has what it takes to do the business for Scotland in the looming World Cup campaign.
Despite being nearly 37 the Burnley full-back believes he has the ability to help Scotland reach the finals in South Africa in 2010.
Alexander wasn't involved in George Burley's last squad in Prague in the friendly 3-1 defeat to the Czechs.
But he insists he has no intention of retiring from international football.
Graham said: "I believe I can play a part in the World Cup campaign.
"Even if it's only for a couple of games, or a one-off, I will be available.
"There are a lot of good players out there who I'm competing against but I've never let Scotland down and if the chance comes I'll take it."
