Spain lined up as Euro hosts
UEFA are ready to pull the plug on Euro 2012 hosts Poland and Ukraine and give the tournament to Spain.
Scotland hoped to stage the competition but they will not be awarded the showpiece.
Spain are the favourites should Poland and Ukraine fail to meet the deadlines to show progress has been made for stadia, training facilities, infrastructure and hotels required.
UEFA have already given Poland and Ukraine a yellow card as a warning and there will be a further inspection near the end of the year.
