DUTCH star Edwin van der Sar reckons Craig Gordon has already justified his £9million transfer fee after dazzling in the Premiership for Sunderland.
The Scotland keeper moved south from Hearts last year in a massive deal and Manchester United goalie van der Sar was impressed with his role in helping Roy Keane's men avoid the drop.
He said: "Craig will feel he should be at Euro 2008 as Scotland were unlucky not to qualify. He will want to make up for that in the World Cup qualifiers but he will also have Sunderland to think about.
"It was hard for him to come to England with a huge price tag. But Craig justified it by helping Sunderland stay up and I expect him to get even better."
