JAROSLAV PLASIL reckons the success of Scotland's clubs in Europe makes George Burley's men perfect Euro 2008 warm-up opponents.
The Czech Republic ace is desperate for a stiff test ahead of the opening game that sees his side take on co-hosts Switzerland in Basle on June 7.
And Plasil believes Scotland will provide exactly that in the AXA Arena in Prague on Friday night after witnessing a revival of our game at all levels.
The Osasuna star said: "Scotland are interesting rivals because their style of play is similar to the English and it will be a good test for us ahead of Euro 2008.
"Scottish football has improved a lot both in terms of the national team and the SPL club sides.
"Rangers were UEFA Cup finalists, Celtic made the last 16 of the Champions League and Aberdeen did well in the UEFA Cup too. Scotland are perfect opponents for us."
