Exile's Hol Over If Marco Disappears
MARK VAN BOMMEL is planning to return from international exile in time to put a massive dent in Scotland's World Cup hopes.
The Bayern ace hasn't played for Holland since falling out with boss Marco van Basten in 2006.
But with the Dutch gaffer set to quit after Euro 2008 van Bommel hopes to be back for the World Cup qualifiers with Scotland.
He said: "I hope to play against Scotland next year. When van Basten has gone I would love to play for Holland - if the new coach wants me."
