MAURICE ROSS was at the centre of a blazing row with his Viking Stavanger boss Uwe Rosler last night - after the German coach subbed him for swearing at a team-mate.
The ex-Rangers full-back was taken off during their Norwegian league match with Lyn Oslo that ended 1-1.
Ross was seen arguing with Viking skipper Nicolai Stokholm over an instruction handed out by Rosler before the match. He appeared to call Stokholm a 'f***ing p***k' shortly before the interval.
Ross didn't re-appear for the second period and later admitted he couldn't believe Rosler's decision.
Mo said: "I'm really hurt by it. That sort of thing happens between team-mates all the time on pitches all over Europe and it should have been sorted out in the dressing-room at half-time.
"But instead the manager has subbed me. I'm gutted.
"Uwe told me before the match to follow their winger.
"That's what I did but Nikolai disagreed and started having a go. So I put across my opinion and swore at him.
"But at Rangers, there used to be fights between teammates at times and we'd still go out after the break and win the game.
"It's disappointing because we were in control."
Viking coach Rosler refused to elaborate on the bust-up but said Ross had been subbed for "discipline reasons".
