Figo: I'll stay on for Jose

INTER MILAN star Luis Figo last night claimed the club have already told him Jose Mourinho will be in charge at the San Siro next season.

The former Chelsea boss has been tipped to return to football at Inter.

And Portuguese winger Figo said: "Everyone knows Mourinho is coming here and the club have informed me of this. So I'm thinking about staying another year."

Mourinho will replace Roberto Mancini and Inter president Massimo Moratti last night insisted the Italian wasn't axed on a whim.

He said: "It was done in the interests of the club."
