Wesley Sneijder gave Real the lead but in 66 minutes Ramos picked up a second booking and Borja Valero soon equalised for the home side.

Elsewhere, Florent Sinama-Pongolle hit the only goal against Osasuna to move Recreativo out of the relegation zone.
