ARSENAL may well rue Emmanuel Adebayor's last-minute howler that cost them a home victory against the Italians two weeks ago.

With just seconds left the Togo striker missed an open goal when he headed against the bar to leave the tie in the balance at 0-0.

Milan have to be favourites returning to the San Siro for the second leg as they step up their defence of the trophy.

But Arsene Wenger's side have won in Italy before and if they can master a counter-attacking game they could make the last eight.
