HAMBURG boss Huub Stevens ruled his fourth-placed side out of the Bundesliga race after their 1-1 draw with Leverkusen.
He moaned: "The teams at the top will be relieved. If either side had won we could have mixed it up for the title."
Rafael van der Vaart put Hamburg ahead but Manuel Friedrich equalised. They trail Bayern Munich, who have a game in hand, by five points.
