Wigan 2-1 West Brom

WIGAN boss Steve Bruce claimed his men had mugged rock-bottom West Brom after Emmerson Boyce's late winner.

Ishmael Miller had given the Baggies an early lead only for ex-Celt Henri Camara to level with Boyce's strike in 88 minutes condemning West Brom to defeat.

Bruce said: "West Brom will feel mugged and rightly so. We did not play well but stuck at it and got the result."

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray bemoaned his side's poor finishing adding: "Most weeks we outplay the opposition. Yet football is about being clinical."
