STEVE BRUCE compared new boys Stoke to Wimbledon's infamous Crazy Gang.

The Wigan boss saw his side struggle to a draw but insisted City are one of the toughest Premiership teams.

Bruce said: "It's flaming hard playing them. They're big, powerful, well drilled and tough. Wimbledon did it years ago and won the FA Cup and often finished in the top 10."

Stoke gaffer Tony Pullis said: "I'm pleased for the lads. They showed they're committed."
