Everton 1-0 Fulham

EVERTON boss David Moyes admitted his side were not at their best despite a battling win over stubborn Fulham.

The Toffees were frustrated by the Cottagers and needed a late Louis Saha strike to take all three points.

Moyes said: "It wasn't a good performance but the result was important. That's two wins in a week."

After a goalless first half a draw was looking likely until Saha headed in Leon Osman's cross in 86 minutes.

Fulham gaffer Roy Hodgson said: "It's tough to lose in the last five minutes. We missed good chances and it was cruel."
