ROSS McCormack has only been playing in the Championship for a month but reckons even Doncaster Rovers would finish third in the SPL.
The Cardiff City striker has been blown away by the quality on show in England's second tier.
After five games, the former Rangers and Motherwell hitman has rattled in four goals for Dave Jones' side as they bid to reach the promised land of the Premiership.
But McCormack insists every team he's played so far could achieve a Uefa Cup spot in Scotland's top flight.
The 22-year-old is delighted with the start he's made to life at Ninian Park and feels they'll be contenders for promotion.
Ross said: "Everything's been easy for me so far and the club is on the up. The boys have helped me settle in.
"I scored four goals in my first five games so I can't complain.
"I scored my first against Doncaster, where I'd been on loan before. The fans gave me a good reception back there.
"But my late goal made it 1-1 and I didn't get too many handshakes!
"The standard of the Championship is excellent.
"I'd expect the likes of Southampton, Norwich, Doncaster and Sheffield United to finish third in the SPL."
Cardiff beat Premiership clubs to McCormack's signature when he moved to Wales in the summer.
He felt he'd get a better crack at the whip under Jones and he's been proved right.
However, that doesn't stop McCormack dreaming of plying his trade in europe's richest league one day.
Ross said: "Most of the top scorers in the Championship are getting 20 goals.
"So it's possible for me to do the same. It's a case of staying in the team and making sure you keep on scoring.
"The Premiership is a super-rich league. Every man in our squad wants to play in that arena and I'm no different."
