McLeish: Gaz can fire Scots to World Cup
BIRMINGHAM boss Alex McLeish reckons Garry O'Connor can fire Scotland to the 2010 World Cup.
The former Hibs striker (below) has bagged five goals in pre-season for the Blues and Eck claims his dazzling form merits an international recall.
McLeish said: "Garry worked extremely hard over the summer and is starting to get some of the nonsense out of his system.
"He wants it for himself and it augurs well for George Burley and Scotland."
