Sturrock in for Szamo

PLYMOUTH are all set to rekindle their interest in former Dundee United keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski.

The Pole is searching for a club after leaving Preston and could end up at Home Park as Paul Sturrock looks to fill the gap left by Luke McCormick.

Plymouth's goalie has been suspended after being charged with dangerous driving following a crash that left two kids dead last month.

And former United boss Sturrock is ready to replace him with Szamotulski who dazzled at Tannadice last season.

The 32-year-old moved to Preston in February but never played a first-team game.
