BASTIAN Schweinsteiger could be set for a move to England after Euro 2008.

The 23-year-old £4million rated midfielder is in the final year of his contract at Bayern Munich and is considering moving on.

Bayern boss Jurgen Klinsmann wants the player to sign a new deal but understands if he decides to try another challenge as hemoved to Inter Milan from Germany at the same age.

Schweinsteiger said: "I may stay with Bayern and the coach has promised to be supportive of whatever decision I make.

"England does have a good appeal as it is one of the world's best leagues. I've always wanted to play there and we'll see if it happens this year."
