NEWCASTLE boss Kevin Keegan admits his side face a reality check against Champions League finalists Chelsea tomorrow.
After a dreadful start to his second stint at St James' Park the Magpies are now unbeaten in seven games.
But Keegan knows the visit of a Chelsea side who must win to keep their title hopes alive will be a test of his rebuilt Magpies team.
He said: "This is a chance to see if we have progressed or if is it a false dawn.
"If we beat them we can then maybe start to think this squad is much better than the league position suggests."
