WOLVES boss Mick McCarthy has backed Scotland fringe man Neil Collins to win over the boo boys at Molineux.
The Scotland B international has copped flak from angry Wolves fans for his form.
Most recently the defender was jeered as he came on as a substitute in last Tuesday's 3-0 win against Cardiff City.
But McCarthy has given a vote of confidence to the former Dumbarton centre-half.
McCarthy said: "Neil is a real positive guy, a fantastic fella and great to have in the team.
"I have nothing other than praise for him.
"He just gets on and does his job. He is terrific."
