SUNDERLAND boss Roy Keane was is no mood to celebrate despite his side easing further away from the relegation zone.
He said: "We didn't play well. I'd say we were pretty bad.
We didn't keep it enough but we scored at the right time.
"However, the spirit of the players has been fantastic."
Danny Collins and sub Michael Chopra gave Sunderland a 2-0 lead but David Healy pulled one back before Kenwyne Jones sealed it.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson said: "The only lifeline is that football isn't played on paper - on paper it looks really bad for us."
