WATFORD striker Darius Henderson missed his second penalty in five days in a goalless draw with Stoke that helped the Potters climb to the top of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Rory Fallon struck twice to give Argyle a two-goal lead.

Lee Trundle pulled one back from the penalty spot but the visitors held on.

Ipswich boosted their playoff hopes with a 2-0 win over Charlton. Owen Garvan and Danny Haynes scored.

Hull's play-off challenge remained on track as they thumped Southampton 5-0.

Frazier Campbell, Henrik Pedersen, Michael Turner, Dean Marney and Bryan Hughes were all on the scoresheet.

Tom Soares and James Scowcroft both netted to give Crystal Palace a 2-0 win over Barnsley.

And Wolves kept their play-off dreams alive with a 3-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor. Seyi Olofinjana, Michael Gray and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake had givenMick McCarthy's side a three-goal cushion before Ade Akinbiyi's consolation strike.
