READING boss Steve Coppell was left fuming after Fernando Torres' winner sealed victory for Liverpool.
The Royals took an early lead through Czech midfielder Marek Matejovsky. But an equaliser from Javier Mascherano, left, and a header from Torres in the second half left Coppell feeling deflated.
He groaned: "If you allow Torres a free header six yards out, he will score.
We just stood and watched. We also had a strong shout for a penalty. The ball hit Steven Gerrard on the arm."
