MICHAEL HART is ready to help Preston move away from the drop zone after finally ending his injury hell.

The ex-Aberdeen right-back has not played a first-team game for the Championship strugglers since his £100,000 move in January. But the 28-year-old is now over his hip injury and played a reserve game in midweek.

Hart said: "I want to play as soon as I can but at Pittodrie when I was fit I was straight back in, but here it's different and I have to fight formy place."
